New Lucozade Powerleague Proposal

GKA Planning Communications on behalf of Lucozade Powerleague were aiming to put in a planning application by the end of December 2015 for the multi-sports facility proposed for Kingsbury High School.

At very short notice scanty plans were shown at a Drop-In Session held at the school on Friday 10th December 2015, right in time for the Christmas holidays!;   but residents turned out in force realising this was a tactic often used, as did the previous GOALS organisation.

The plan is for
1 x full sized pitch      (100m x 64m)
1 x MUGA Pitch           (47.6m x 31.1m)
4 x Small Pitches        (30m x 20m)
2 x Cricket Nets          (28m x 5m)
Parking
16 x existing spaces
52 x proposed parking places
5 x proposed disabled parking spaces
32 x cycle parking spaces

Your Residents Association  sent an email to the Head of Planning at Brent Council, stating concern that GKA/Lucozade Powerleague has not allowed the community enough time to consult over this proposal.

We have also sent a letter to GKA & Lucozade Powerleague requesting a meeting to be arranged explaining their proposal in fuller detail.

In the meantime, if you have not already sent in your comments to GKA, please do so to:

Unit E1, Regent Park, Summerleys Road, Princes Risborough, Bucks HP27 9LE or email: Charles Bushe at c.bushe@gka.co.uk.

It is evident that there is a strong opposition to this proposal. There may be views in favour but we have not seen any so far. In order to register the feelings of the Village and surrounding community, we would be grateful if you could please copy your comments to contact@roegreenvillage.org.uk or post to 30 Goldsmith Lane, Kingsbury, London NW9 9AH; please include a contact name and address/email.
We look forward to hearing from you.
